Yeah, got all that covered. The doc didn't think the infection was in my knee capsule, and that is a good thing. He prescribed Sulfamethoxazole for the infection, and a butt load of percodans for the pain. My wife is making me stay in bed and be waited on... stay OFF of the leg, Chuck. Shoot, I'm starting to think I should have shot both knees. :)

Shoot, REALLY? Leeches!?

I've always been curious about the real medical applications of those things.

I have my own kneeboat to paddle in a similar pain direction, but I'm hoping mine will hold til new orthotics/shoes/adjustment in December.

Hurray for percocet and bedroom/couch service.

What's really wild is watching maggots work on wound debridement. They only eat dead tissue, and are extremely thorough. Most effective way to clean a nasty wound for repair.

Wild, huh?

you are wearing a sweater and are still cold sitting in your office at work? So much so that you finally break down and buy a snuggie. Embarrassed and insecure.

Then finally come to peace after you use it and it works. I look like a dork, a warm dork, but a dork none the less.

Should I feel envy, or should you?

Isn't a snuggie kinda like a poncho... only longer?

P.S: Growing up what we called a snuggie was what others call a wedgie.

That must get awkward at times. Goodness knows that no one, well most people at least, don't enjoy getting violated by their underpants.

A snuggie is a blanket that has sleeves attached to them. It isn't a poncho.

I got one for my office because it is so damn cold. Always between 15-16C (about 60-62F). Before it wasn't too bad, I work with high end servers and the like so we need the space cold, but 20-23 (70-75) is about the right temperature all that we need. That is what the AC was set at. The AC downstairs was set on stupid low, so they fixed it. Now upstairs is set at stupid low.

I got tired of being cold. I would rather look like a dork, but a warm dork.

Bob,

If they had a cowprint snuggie I would totally get it. I think it should be called a "Blave" for men or a "Sleeket" for women. lol

...You've pulled 16hrs/day for the last three days, have 2 8 hour days, and at least 3 more 16 hr days to go? I've only slept for 2 hours today. I may get four in before I have to go in this evening. Oh, and football starts a week from saturday. If this season is like the last, I'll go in on friday night at 2330, and leave sometime around 0730 sunday morning on home game weekends.

I'll sleep when I'm dead.

Listen carefully to me old devil, I'm only interested in two things. See if you can guess what they are.
