Yes, I believe, you are entitled to at least one happy dance! Some women (and, to be fair, some men, too...) are just messed up and waiting to make other people's lives miserable. As one who believes in the relentless practice of birth control (thank you, I'm not ready to be responsible for anything more than a houseplant right now), please protect yourself from these idiots who would want to make a father out of you.
