Quick answer: Don't care.

Not so quick answer: It is ultimately up to the woman. I have seen/heard of selfish assholes who deem that a 'hairy' woman was gross and would never even date one. I can also believe the paedophilia slant but I am a little resistant to it. Ie, I have know of men to believe the same. I have known several woman who are bare because it is cleaner around that time of the month. I ain't earning my red-wings, so I am not going to find out.

I have gone from full bush to nothing. The only thing that nice is, as you said, not having the stray pube in the mouth.

To be honest, I think the current fad of twiggy impersonators would be more of a sign of paedophilia tendencies then a shaved mound. They look like fourteen year old children, no boobs, no hips, and nothing that attracts my attention.

Bob, -- It isn't that you're stupid; it is just that you're ignorant.

My slant on this is probably a bit bitter, skewed, pissed off, whatever, but!

So I'm kind of a wimp, but I shave bare because I'm too lazy to be careful careful about the hair I'm not shaving off. BUT any guy who requests that I go bare is looking for that 12 year old look, 'cause let's face it, I look like I'm 12 half the time.

I'm also pretty furry as far as chicks go.

I shave/trim/wax, but leave a very thin vertical strip--almost a continuation of my scar. I have had guys be turned off by going completely bare, as it does remind them too much of a childlike look.

See, I don't get that. Looking at /my/ personal anatomy, my mons is at least a good two inches or so from where I bleed. For women who use that line, I wanna know WTF they're doing wrong.

Ditto.

And Bob, on the topic of the "Twiggy" impersonators, I don't see what is so attractive about it either, but mainly because of the boniness. It's not much of a turn-on to be seeing/feeling. What's your thoughts on androgyny, in the terms of outward appearances? Personally, if I weren't so curvy I'd randomly do it, but you play with what you got.

I've never had to buy lube before, I always got it through a deal at work. That was the best lube I've found. There's 2 sex stores on the next block, so I'm sure I can find something suitable. May even look at some toys. I my toybox packed up in Ontario as I didn't want to be flying with it.

I'm slightly off topic (since I'm neither attracted to nor possess female anatomy, my comments relate to men), but I'll share my two cents anyway. Yes, shaving completely does make one look prepubescent, which is definitely not a look that turns me on. And to me, at least if it's not done quite right on men, the vertical strip reminds me of a Hitler mustache. I'd much rather nothing be done at all than too much removed.

My thoughts on androgyny? I don't care for it. I don't see the allure of sticking it in something that looks like it could be one or the other. I tend to like quite curvy women. Twiggys honestly disgusts me. Two levels, one they aren't comfortable with themselves, and have issues with their body shape, and their perceived body image. That leads to poor nutrition, as well as poor mental health. Call me traditional, chauvinistic, misogynistic, or what not, but when I am looking for a woman, I am looking for one that will bear healthy children, and will be able to care for and nurture them throughout their lives. My Ex-Wives family was sort of like that, but I got the fatter one. Her mother was a twiggy, by knife and otherwise, she was constantly guiltting her two youngest children to lose weight. It gave both of them a complex.

I look for someone that is comfortable in their body, as well as one with curves. Tits, ass, and hips. What can I say, I like my women to look like women...

I felt nekkid when I shaved my groin. A few days later, the ingrown hairs created undesirable red bumps. Itchiness and red bumps can be reduced by using lotion, but that must be applied a couple times a day. My manliness disappears for a while as well. Quite uncomfortable.

For now, I trim a short length in the shape of a trapezoid. Hot as hell in the summer time if left too long.

Expect Nothing.

Not necessarily true. There's plenty of women who are naturally on the Twiggy side. Also, no matter their shape, a LOT of women aren't comfortable with their bodies.

That statement suffers from the "Broad Generalization" syndrome, in both senses of the word.

I do, in fact, know someone who has a genetic abnormality such that she needs to consume a 3000-4000 calorie diet to achieve any weight gain at all. She is a size Zero or less, she was perfectly comfortable with her body, though longed for.... larger tracks of land.

I will truck out the over used, yet valid, societal pressures to achieve a unrealistic and unhealthy body shape. Please consider it used.

I'm one of those people who gets to consume massive amounts of Calories in order to gain any weight.

Which was nice during finals week last fall semester when I consumed somewhere around 72 cans of coke in five days, but that was all I had.

I have met very few women who are actually comfortable with their bodies. Which is a shame, really, because there are plenty of women who are beautiful and think they are disgusting. Of course, there are quite a few that are the opposite, so...

I don't really have a preference; that is to say, I dont draw lines at a certain weight, in either direction. But you can kind of tell when you look at someone if they weigh the proper amount. A person shouldnt starve themselves trying to be too skinny for their frame just because some stupid bitch in a magazine gets paid a lot of money to wear a bandana as a dress. Neither should they sit on the couch stuffing McFatPatties into their mouths, because they are a dollar and there's a sex and the city marathon on TBS. I will not be winning any body building contests, and have yet to receive any word from GQ or Mens Fitness about appearing in their magazines, so I try not to judge, but, as someone who recently lost a lot of weight (about 40 pounds), you really should just *know* if you are an unhealthy weight. I just FEEL a whole lot better now, the benefits to my appearance are just a bonus.

Oh, and a note on the grooming issue. As long as its not wildly unkept, I don't particular care how a woman chooses to keep it. I do enjoy completely shaved, and I don't feel it makes me a pedophile. It doesn't make me think "ooo shes young", it makes me think "ooo, she intended to let me see her vagina today" which is kind of a turn on. I like women who like sex and who aren't about sitting around waiting for me to "seduce" them (this isnt to say i dont participate in and enjoy foreplay). But I don't want to feel like im raping someone, just because some stereotype says that men have to be more aggressive and get things going. Unless we're playing that game, which is a different story completely. But I digress...yeah, to me no hair says "I planned this night out so get your ass over here and fuck me". And what's not to like about that?

:Grendel:
As usual, my statements will probably be misunderstood and offend someone.
