Looks like you may be in line for unemployment checks while you look for another job. At least there is that working for you.

I fell into the river on Earth Day and ruined the second pair of not cheap shoes this year.

subject: Can't please some people...
So after several incedents, they are paving the yard at my work. We are already tight on space, and we run several heavy lifts that weigh in over 120k lbs. So it's not an easy job.

What kills me, is all the drivers who constantly complained about the yard, are now complaining about being inconvenienced by the paving.

subject: isolated and hyperventilating.

After listening to a bunch of old people talk about cats and pooping, I told my self, "Self, you have got to find people your own age."
So I went to a bar with music and a band in it. And people. It was fantastic.
I can't go there anymore.
I am quietly freaking the hell out.
Well, judging by the fact that I'm waking up in the middle of the night, screaming, I'm not sure about quietly.

Somewhat on topic, I feel (as somewhat of an old person) to share this.

On a trip to WDW, I got sick on the way back to our room from one of the restaurants and I spent a good deal of time... uh... enjoying the efforts of Disney's lavatory cleaning staff. I was pleasantly surprised that the Ticketing and Transportation Center had the emptiest, cleanest, and most comforting of decors of the tour. However, I did write them later about the bulimic toilet there that I had the amusement to listen to as I was shitting my brains out for 20 minutes. It was one of those "uh, uh, uh FLUSSSSSSSSH" automatic deals. At one point, I was laughing so hard at it that the boyfriend came in to the women's lav to check to make sure I hadn't completely lost my mind from pain and well, shitting it out.

Ah, to know the simple, but ever so important things in life. I guess I'm not the only one that is getting old. ;)

Somewhat related, my older brother once quipped, nothing is more overrated than sex, or underrated as a good shit! He wasn't even all that old when he surmised such profundity :)
