subject: My week kicked ass because.......
Firstly, I got laid for a record three times in a day on Monday. My girl is very happy. :D

Secondly, apparently, I can get a very attractive married woman if I wanted to. This new front desk lady started in the building I'm securing. She's very attractive, and a rock the girth of my biggest knuckle. She is hitting on me like crazy, rubbing my legs when no one is watching. Shit like that. Very big boost to my ego. And the strange and better thing is I resisted even though I could because I am in love with my girlfriend. Schwing. Alan, 4. God, 0.

Thirdly, my facility manager is finally listening to my advice on what in the building needs fixed to make the building more secure. Boh yeah!

Fourthly, I have been finding more intelligent people more frequently on the bus in the past week. Finally, intelligent conversations on the bus. 6-0!

Today is my Friday (not that I would complain about the week; just glad it's the weekend) aand I got my full first weeks pay! Boh-yah!

And the only thing God could get on me this week is a lack of sleep! :D 7-1, in favor of Alan!

Take that as you will.

subject: TOB
happy happy joy joy

I've finally found an apartment that works extremely well for my situation. Fully furnished in a nice area, and decently close to where I work. I move in next weekend, and I can't wait. Gyl's a good guy, and I really appreciate him putting up with me, but a girl needs her private space, and a bathroom that they can spend at least an hour in. Well, I do. I'm picky that way. And I know I don't do well living with others.

subject: It's been a good month
Spent two weeks in Alaska, preparing for/participating in/recovering from my little sister's wedding to an absolutely awesome guy whom I completely adore. Their wedding was beyond stunning and I doubt I will ever attend one its equal. I even got to wear a lovely and thoroughly not-hideous bridesmaid outfit.

Mr Smith and I spent a couple of days up in the Denali area, including renting a little cabin for a couple of nights that was clean, well-furnished, and had a full kitchen with a grill. We took a bus out into the park - as it was the next-to-last bus available, there were only about 10 other people (as opposed to the packed-to-the-gills ones we saw on their way back). I lived in Alaska for 22 years and never set foot inside the park, so this was a pretty big accomplishment. In addition, we saw "the big four": moose, caribou, Dall sheep, and grizzly bear. To top it all off, we saw Denali. The whole thing. Which, believe me, is very rare. The bus guides said it was the best day they'd had all summer--which, in Anchorage at least, had been unseasonably rainy. Went berry picking the next day, which was also beautiful.

Got to spend time with family and good friends on the trip--including an accidental need-to-take-another-flight-home incident. Made it back with close to 140# of frozen seafood, most of it still completely frozen. Didn't crash my car on the drive home, even though it was difficult to focus my eyes.

Spent the last week going back and forth with Mr Smith's family about an upcoming wedding of one of his cousins, but now all is resolved, thank god.

Satellite is up and running again. Garden is going well, except for the parts that the deer munched on. Work is busy.

Life ain't too bad.

subject: Opportunity of a lifetime
Late this morning, Mr Smith got a call from a friend of his who does whitewater rafting. Long story short, she's rafting the Grand Canyon next month on a cancellation permit--and has an extra spot.

He can't go, due to weddings all next month. However, being an independent contractor, I have that flexibility at work. The only issue is money--but hey, it's only money. People wait for permits to raft the Grand Canyon and plan ahead for years. This is the chance of a lifetime. Even my parents are excited for me. I'll be away from work for a full three weeks, but what the fuck--it's slow season anyway.

I have a week and a half to get ready. I've never been to the Grand Canyon. I've only been whitewater rafting once, back in high school. Luckily, I am going with an experienced crew. I'm nervous, but excited.

I can't believe I'm going to do this.

I got that one a year or so ago. I had the VHS version, but left it at my Ex-wifes place. I was so happy to find a 'dvd' version of it. I am sure if enough interest was sparked trent would actually release halo 12 on DVD. He has repressed many of his early discs. I managed to find a mint copy of halo 2 (Pretty Hate Machine) just before they repressed it. *sigh*

subject: Can you tell me exactly {i}{b}who{/i}{/b} is the Positronic Pimp? :D
Okay, check this out. From the start of my employment with ISS Security Services, I was posted at Nevada State College, which is 2 hours on the bus getting there and 2.5 hours getting home. I requested a transfer to the college in which I take classes about a week ago. It's about 10 minutes on the bus and about a half an hour walking. Decidedly much better on travel time and distance, easily. And if I go the logical route, I'd be walking to and from work every shift, aiding in my losing weight and, ideally, saving me 40 bucks for a bus pass every other pay check.

As of 10 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, I will be working at this very campus! YES! The only shit part is that it is graveyard, but you know what? That means I'm going to be bored out of my fucking mind when I'm not doing my rounds, thereby I'm going to be doing homework and studying. This is a definate uberly epic WIN! Oh yeah, I an teh epic Positronic Pimp! :D

Take that as you will.
