I used to live, as the crow flies, four miles away. I spent many a summer there...

Yes, it is fantastic. This time of year, you will see caravans from Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, and Missouri going there to climb.

And again, for Geo-geeks, it is like seeing the pyramids to Archaeologists.
If I ever drop my pants and say: "Res Ipsa Loquitur"-Be afraid, BE VERY AFRAID...

I went hiking there on a dorm trip years ago. I remember it being very pretty and a nice place to spend the day hiking.

That's one of the few places that's inspired me to sketch. I'm an awful artist, and I don't even think I have the drawing anymore, but man was it moving.

Let me know if you ever go back to that area-I can show you a few places that are pretty sweet, either for completely obscuring evidence of humanity, or of catching a real bitchin' sunset...

I called Dennis and the conversation was this:

Him: Hey, Kit. What's happening?
Me; Know anything about a bridge?
Him: 35W collapsed into the river. If you know anyone that drives down here, call them NOW and make sure they're okay. BYE!

*shakes her head* Weird stuff.

Hey, guys, does the area around Loring Park still suck? It sucked eight years ago, but times change, I suppose.

That was random. I don't know that it has changed much, but I'm not a very good gay as I don't spend any time there. Areas on some sides are still trendy, sculpture garden and the Walker haven't changed, and the main attraction in the park is still a fountain that resembles a dandelion.

My present location is four hours south of MN.
