Yeah, I especially like the clarity it brings when trying to work my way through an intricate math problem, or some complicated logistics schedule, or simply trying to remember where the fuck I left my keys...

*Grins* If you get lost on your way to NY and find yourself close to Ala bam dama, look us up. Just like everywhere else, it's an entirely different place.

So, are you saying pot is a memory and math enhancer for you, or that it simply takes more to impair those skills.

By the way, I'm not saying pot is all together bad. It can be inspirational in fact, allowing one to perceive things from different angles that might be missed from a straight view. And of course it helps you if you are on a mission to deplete the world's supply of Twinkies. But in the long run, and with most people, I've found that right next door to the room labeled "Inspired" is another room labeled "Null and Void."

It's a rare bird indeed, who's skills are actually enhanced WHILE stoned.

Just saying...

painkilers are highly addictive...studies show people r hooked in 90 days and doin things hardend addicts would be proud of...most may find that a simple over the counter med would actually remedy the pain

From your profile, I gather you are beyond any actual withdrawal symptoms so I would say no to your query about suboxone. After all, that is only replacing the "satisfaction" from one pill for the "satisfaction" from another. Better, that you continue redefining yourself as a mother (with all of it's satisfactions, realities, and yes there will be trials and tribulations), than continuing to think of yourself as a drug addict or alcoholic, ex or otherwise. Case in point: Among my many "vices," past or present, I used to smoke. I don't smoke anymore. While technically I am an ex-smoker, I don't define myself as an ex-smoker, and I damn sure ain't gonna fall into the trap of defining myself as a recovering smoker. That trap could go on forever. Rather, I choose to think of myself as a non-smoker when I think about it at all, and that frees me up to think about all the other things (vices or otherwise) that I would rather think about. Stick with the motherhood and such, and with a little luck it won't drive you BACK to drugs and alcohol. :) :) :)
