I looked at that, but it doesn't tell you who gave it to you (even tho I'm pretty sure I know anyway), and, there is no way to contest the results. Looking at my karma history, it's pretty obvious someone was out to get me, because they just seemed to pick post after post and just ping me with a negative... Oh well... It is what it is...

Nah, never showed who, as it just gives away too much. The karma system still has flaws, but it's almost stable now. I do probably have to get around to the 'vendetta' feature.

Point of order: "Hit me up" is not a phrase used around here. Please make a note of that.

Having dispensed with that, welcome aboard. Punctuation and complete sentences are encouraged.

There's a big difference between having an unpopular opinion, and being an ass about having an unpopular opinion.

What you say is only half of an interaction. How you say it is massively important.

I've been here since about 2000, and only have around 800-ish posts...

I keep strange hours because of my job... So I check on here every few days, at wierd times...

And only on certain boards... Altho lately, I have been looking at more and more boards...

I might have said the initial comment in a very sarcastic tone, but sometimes thats how I talk (both on the internet, and in real life) to get my point across... I still don't think 1 comment (or even one topic) is a reason to ping someone out of existence...

Like I said, I had ALOT of possitive karma before then, so one incident erased 10 years of being a good member?

subject: Introduction
Hello,

I'm introducing myself as suggested by the "you've never posted, introduce yourself" link. I'm a hard worker, a lot of fun at parties and a really good dancer. Sometimes my dance partner is not so good which makes me look bad but if i were to dance alone you would probably think it was good.

I am also fond of most mammals, which has nothing at all to do with female mammals having mammary glands. That's pure coincidence. And as a member of this community I vow to contribute constructively and never post such a ridiculous rant again. Without due cause or provocation. On Thursdays.

Oh, and Ive been a lurker for a while. I like you guys.

LOL! There was a brief period (very, very brief) when the ascetic of monastic life appealed to me. But I quickly realized it would too easily fall into false piety, and I just couldn't imagine ever taking a vow of celibacy.

i prefer the balance of extremes to moderation. much more stable. it takes much more energy to upset a balance of two equidistant large masses with a great distance between them. like spending your morning drinking broccoli /carrot /kale /beet /apple juice and doing yoga or tai chi then going out in the evening washing down steak with cocktails. like layers of healthy and poison in your body.
